Reading Tennis Club (RTC) is a family friendly club that is open to everyone in the community: Adults, Juniors and Students of All Abilities.

We offer LTA Licensed Tennis Coaching lessons, club sessions, competitions, social events, and a Wimbledon ticket ballot.

We believe that the club membership offers fantastic value for money particularly for a venue with grass courts. Players could play grass and floodlit hard court tennis for less than 30p per hour if taking part in all of the club sessions. Members also receive a discounted price for group coaching courses. In the summer RTC has use of 3 well maintained Grass Tennis Courts for club sessions on Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings and Saturday mornings and for some of the competitions that we run. There is nothing quite like the experience of playing summer grass court tennis like at Wimbledon and we are one of a small number of clubs that offer this experience.

We also have use of Floodlit Hard Tennis Courts so play is possible all year round late into the evening. Changing facilities and a cafe are located at the Reading University sports centre (SportsPark).

We offer all year round tennis Coaching lessons for adults and juniors of all abilities. Both club members and non members can take part in the coaching program. Tennis Coaching is provided by our LTA Qualified Coaches.

The club specialises in running tournaments for players of all ages. You do not have to be a club member to take part. We cater for club members, players in the coaching program, Reading University students and players from around Berkshire and beyond. Further details can be found here ...
