Reading Tennis Club (RTC) is a family friendly club that is open to everyone in the community: Adults, Juniors and Students of All Abilities.

We offer LTA Licensed Tennis Coaching lessons, club sessions, tournaments, social events, a Wimbledon ticket ballot and Berkshire league matches.

We believe that the club membership offers fantastic value for money particularly for a venue with grass courts. In the summer RTC has use of 3 well maintained Grass Tennis Courts for club sessions on Tuesday evenings, Thursday evenings and Saurday mornings. We are one of a small number of clubs where players can play grass court tennis like at Wimbledon due to the amount of maintenance work needed to provide good quality grass tennis courts.

We also have use of Floodlit Hard Tennis Courts so play is possible all year round late into the evening. Changing facilities and a cafe are located at the Reading University sports centre (SportsPark).

We offer all year round tennis Coaching lessons for both adults and juniors of all abilities. Both club members and non members can take part in the coaching program. Club members receive a discount on group coaching courses. Tennis Coaching is provided by our LTA Qualified Coaches.

The club specialises in running tournaments for players of all ages. We cater for club members, players in the coaching program, Reading University students and players from around Berkshire and beyond. The 2012 tournament program will begin in April and we will announce further details in March.
